| Teri Kahan is a professional graphic designer, fine artist and educator in Southern California. Her passion for the sea, sun and the “Aloha Spirit” of Hawaii, where she lived for several years, resonates through her art and persona. In Hawaiian, the translation of “kaha” means to draw, make marks, turn or surf. Most appropriately, the same letters in these Hawaiian words make up her name. | ||

| Teri’s work uniquely synthesizes digital design with traditional art skills and media. A multi-disciplined artist, Teri’s services include font design and lettering as well as graphic design, illustration, apparel art and logo design. Her artistic ability is further demonstrated through her fine art photography which was juried into the prestigious Festival of Arts in Laguna Beach, California. | ||

| She shares her design expertise and love of the visual arts through classes, workshops and lectures at colleges, museums and art societies. The Type Director’s Club, NY, (TDC) recently invited her as a juror for their annual competition. She is also a volunteer art instructor for the Newport-Mesa Unified School District. Teri earned a teaching credential from Orange Coast College in 1981 and has completed coursework in business, art and graphics from UCI, UCSB and OCC. | ||
